My Samsung laptop HDD died which held my recovery partition. I no longer have a recovery media as it was wiped by mistake years ago. I don’t think a retail version of Windows 8 will work to have the license auto populate after Windows is installed. I tried Samsung support and they straight up said they do not release their recovery media at all, and also do not sell it.
They said to use BestBuy but best buy says softward don’t keep recovery media at all. They said I would end up having to purchase a new Windows 8 license to get my laptop back running.

Hi, I did the upgrade from windows 10 to windows I inserted the key and I have an error. I have it and it’s original and I can’t have problems now as I need to use the computer. Error code 0xCC Trouble shoot won’t fix the issue. I can’t call a US based number, I think the issue is Microsoft servers, it’s 1 day it gives the same issue and this started all of a sudden after the Updates of 10 and during early hours of 11th of May.

Regarding the USB that has burned for the second time during a process of creation of Iso The process deletes the configuration apparently of the USBs and makes them unservicable , how to get a refund on that? I understand it might be around 5 Euro or 10, but it’s still money and time wasted. I am considering this some sort of bug introduced by phone companies to earn some money with Agent calls and they make lot of money I’ll call my country service, I just don’t understand why the foreign service could not solve this.
