Fully integrates into flt Sim X full scenery package. Recommend that you have a fast computer so as to be able to turn up the scenery options. This is an add-on simulation to flt Sim X that everyone can enjoy from rookie to expert arm chair pilot. The program installed easily and was ready to go. The only thing I need to figure out is how to get the full screen holograms on the screen in front of the pilot for speed, altitude, and artificial.
Looks like it will be a great product with lots of aircraft choices. The cockpit and other scenery is very detailed. One person found this helpful. Doesn’t work that great with Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Bought this for the hubby because he wanted combat fighting flying. He plays it almost every day. A really good buy.
I cant play it on my pc. Plus – easy install, nice variety of liveries, most of the buttons work. Minus – hud and mfd’s are frustrating.
They would not work if you simply select the plane from the free flight menu. The only way I could get them to work is to select my default cold and dark Cessna in the free flight menu, hit fly now, then start the Cessna, and finally change to the F16 in the drop down menu. Before mentioning anything else about this game, the graphics must get their due credit. F MF is a gorgeous game. The texture maps on all of the planes are very highly detailed, the terrain is attractive and exaggerated in height so that its more fun to fly low on your ingress to target.
Your own plane is a sight to see. I have not ever seen planes looking this good in a sim before. The texture mapping is damned near photorealistic. The planes also feature little touches like the ability to see yourself through the canopy of the cockpit.
Best off all, the inside of the F features the most amazing 3-D virtual cockpit ever seen in a flight sim. It actually looks better than some 2-D cockpits in sims like Jane’s F F MF even reflects the control panels on the canopy. In addition, the game runs at a very high framerate despite its beauty, seriously embarrassing CPU hogging sims like the aforementioned F, or Longbow 2. A 3DFX is close to a requirement for this one though. Once you pick your mouth up off of the floor you might also begin to notice the gameplay present in F MF.

WERMH 1 point. RIP verison runs fine on Linux with sound, the framerate is amazingly low 30 or lower for such a low detailed empty game. The actual gameplay is not great and not easily accessible, missions to protect aircraft are a pain you loose sight of the pane and are continiously told your too much above or too much below, too far away etc, no redirections or pointers to get the plane you need to protect so you left flying around at a snail’s pace looking at a blank sky and badly textured plane lands.

While learning how to fly, on a campaign sortie we took off, a few clicks out we ran into our first squadron of fighters. That peeled off one of my support and damaged my wingman, we continued on and completed primary mission. Immediately afterwards we were all hit really hard by a second squadron of experienced aces.
